Wow, it was really raining hard.
I was recently speaking with a friend about our mutual love of the wilderness and the strong desire we both have about being ‘out there’, when the thought came to me concerning home. Where is it?
I came to the realization that “Home”, truly is where the heart is. My heart is at its most healthy state when I am with my family ‘out there’
.
After college my first ‘boss’ told me that it was more important for me to be at work, making the big bucks, than to be at home with my family. Needless to say, I didn’t last long at that job. After so many years, now I get to have the best of both worlds, one where my work allows me to be with my family.
