BricsCAD - commercial CAD, developed by the Belgian company Bricsys. Initially, the system was based on the IntelliCAD platform; in February 2010 announced the withdrawal from the consortium ITC. This is one of the few CAD systems with Linux support. It uses the library developed by the Open Design Alliance consortium to work with the DWG format.
The first release for Linux was released on September 6, 2010.
System requirements : Linux® 64-bit, 1GHz CPU, 1GB + RAM, HDD 1GB +
1) Unpack BricsCAD-V18.1.14-1-en_US-amd64.tar.gz into a folder (for example, in ~ / bcad_en)
2) Copy all the contents from the license_manager folder to the folder with the unzipped program
3) Run the bcad script . sh (located in the folder with unpacked prog)
4) For ease of launch, you can copy the BricsCAD 18.desktop file to your desktop, correct the Exec and Icon lines in the file, specifying the path to the folder with the unzipped program. Also, in the file properties, activate the "Allow executing file as program" checkbox.
