Locked bug - torrent with the double ammount downloaded (while it was not really)

i donwloaded a windows 10 that has 2.54 GB , i just noticed that qbitorrent and also the forum statistics show 5.9gb downloaded

can any one help to find out what happend, so it does not happen again?

Looks like you downloaded the same torrent twice

Just replicated it by downloading twice, result 5.1 GB you can see on my profile.

well, then its even more odd, on profile 5.1, but qbitorrent shows 5.9
and how do i download twice? i downloaded it, and its there since june seeding, i surely didnt download it twice myself - weird really

Not a clue, but there's nothing wrong at this end.

Has your directory changed after update and now the torrent is in 2 locations on ya pc?

That's all I can think of lol.

nothing changed really, same folder on the computer since the day of the download
and i don't use any antivirus at all

here you can see it's 5.9 on qbitorrent

well, i'll send a bug report to qbitorrent's dev's then, maybe it's a bug on the software

You download in GiB and KiB it looks the same but it's not the same as gigabyte (GB), GiB is what you call a Gibibyte.

Gigabyte = 10^9 bytes = 1000 MB
Gibibyte = 2^30 bytes = 1075 MB

not much but might explain your difference

Well if qbittorrent shows that data is downloaded 5.9 gb , which means twice , then its the issue at the end of qbittorrent , as our tracker receives data from the torrent client and updates accordingly.
