how to Add to your hosts file and save?

Locate the file called C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts
It's a text file. Edit it with NotePad, but be sure to run the NotePad as an administrator (right-click on NotePad.exe and choose Run as Admin).

Alternative: Copy the hosts file to some other place or on a different disc drive. Edit it and copy it back, erasing the earlier one.


Before installing this program, I had an old version of PowerDVD. 18, in fact. I tried installing this 22 without erasing the old one. It does work.
