Epic Pen is an interesting application that gives you the ability to draw on the monitor screen regardless of the environment,
for example, you can draw on the desktop screen, any active application, the Start menu, the taskbar and anything else.

The software also supports tools: backlight, eraser, screen capture and hotkeys.
Experience with other image editors is not required, everything is intuitive.

Configuration is quick and very simple, and the only noteworthy disadvantage is that to run you need to install the .NET Framework 4.2 version.
As for the interface, the utility uses a small vertical panel with a modern appearance and buttons for all actions

That can be switched into a minimized form to make it more convenient.

When working, you can choose a pen or marker to draw, you can change the color and size of the pen,
return to cursor mode to continue normal work on the PC, you can erase pictures using an eraser, there is an undo action,

you can clear the screen, as well as capture the entire screen and save the image to the PNG file type.
It's worth noting that the eraser doesn't work with the classic method of holding down the mouse button

and dragging the eraser over unwanted areas you want to remove. Instead, you can simply click on the row to make it disappear.
Keyboard shortcuts are supported to switch the visibility of the program, there is a choice of cursor, stylus,

marker and eraser, undo actions, clear the screen, take pictures, as well as to increase the reduction in stroke size.
These hotkeys can be reassigned according to your preference.

Meanwhile, the settings may be remembered for future sessions or reset to their default values.
