G-Force M-Tron Pro - Win x64 + MAC
DESCRIPTION
The electronic version of a classic manually tape-driven sample-playback keyboard. Originally it was made using strips of recording tapes that would have 2 sounds recorded on them, like Boys Choir and String Section, etc.
Because the sounds were recorded on tape the player only had about 8 seconds of playtime before having to let up on the key and have the tape rewind. There was also a knob that allowed the mixing of the two recorded sounds on each tape.
Each machine had a bank of different tapes that could be changed. The new electronic version may be set to act exactly like the old analog version or the samples may be played without end.
Also, no more opening up the machine and changing tape cartridges. Some of the groups that made this machine famous were Genesis, Led Zepplin, Tangerine Dream, and Pink Floyd.
They were then called Mellotrons and were very expensive and not very road-worthy, constantly breaking and wreaking havoc on live performances.
There are both hardware as well as software versions of the Mellotron today, this is the software version. It may be used as a Standalone Program or as a plug-in in DAWs like Ableton Live and Pro-Tools, etc.
The most famous user was definitely Tony Banks of GENESIS and the Mellotron Sound was one of the hallmarks of the band's sound. This release includes all of the Pro Library Sound Banks and may be used with either Windows x64 or OSX.
As with all my releases, any .nfo file may be opened with Windows Notepad, or the file extension may be either changed to .txt or have .txt added to the end.
All .nfo files in the following format: <VT-* *.nfo> are VirusTotal URLS for scans of the files which are in the folder with them. All positives are false and are a function of the .exe files being Keygens.
