As I said its gone, but if you want to try it give it a shot

I could take it no longer
I 'burned' it to a USB stick & shoved it in the slot & hit boot
I picked the NVMe where it is going & I paused briefly thinking about all the games I have on there
And the 2 games I had not finished yet - RDR2 & FC6
I have yet to install any games on it yet. I was going to play FC6, but the version I have doesn't seem to need installing. Fascinating (in the voice of Spock)

Then I hit delete, to get rid of everything written on it b4 this grouse OS goes on
I installed iCue for my K100 keyboard, but iCue would not install; it wanted to go onto the WWW
I could not get wireless to work so I used services.msc to check 'WLAN AutoConfig'
But it wasn't there. I didn't know where to look for wired (I know now, it is next to it - Wired AutoConfig, do'h )
So I just got out of services.msc & plugged in an ethernet cable & I was up & running. I have ADSL2+. That was easy

Why doesn't Santa have any kids?

Because he only comes once a year, and even then, it is down the chimney
