Locked Google Chrome extension

After installing a new OS all of a sudden it wants me to add an extension to come to this site. It doesnt do it for every OS I install. I can also go through a vpn and no problem. If I also look up and older time when I access the website no issues.

I cant ignore it. It wont let me enter the site any time I type the url it pops up.

Hi, may we ask what is the name of this extension? You may be able to change the url's permissions to bypass it. At least that's what we just found on Google.

Also, you may have an malware which might have cross jacked your extensions. Check the extensions folder and extensions to remove any, if any there as a peek-a-boo.

Some browsers suggest you to "Install Team OS".. I tried it on Brave I think 2-3 days ago.. All that extension do is open teamos-hkrg in new brave tab, but separated from all other brave tabs.. I looked at source of it, no harm.. Will try to reproduce it when from PC later.. But he can ignore it, teamos will load page normaly.. ?

Chrome, he/she did mention. However, extension name, I cannot see any yet. We should await his/her answer.

I somewhere read that they add something to newer source-code of Chromium to automatically support forums and sites like this on future versions, to make something like standalone browser for some sites..

Here it is in Brave, dont know about other browsers..

Than I dont think thats malware.. But @blueis300 says he cant open site at all.. I can, but have that small icon on adressbar to choose install it or not.. Hmm..

What you have shown in the picture are pop up advertisement. I get that when I click on various threads. Of late, I've been getting them too. They open up as new tabs. I usually ignore them and carry on with my work.

Install uBlock Origin extension and you will never see any pop-up anywhere..

Yeah its weird because Ive been trying so many releases and reinstall the same apps each time but this has happened only a few times recently. Ill do a scan and see if it finds anything.

", tested it in different situations with Adblock Plus, and Origin 'win' 90% of time.. If you haven't tried it yet do it..
