Hello friends,
I was travelling for some time and didn't have proper access to Internet. When I finally got home, I tried to log into the site. I normally use www . TeamOS-HKRG dot com to log in. When did that, something very disturbing happened. The site screen flashed just for a second and I got taken to some other site and all kinds of sounds and warning messages came: that my computer's has been compromised and has been blocked up and I should contact the number given there to unlock. My desktop screen and icons had vanished. I had to power off and reboot. I did run a virus check; thankfully, nothing. Same thing happened the next two times I tried. The site I got taken to were different, but the same result. I had to reboot each time. The only after effect once I reboot is: constant notification from Chrome about various anti=virus softwares. I had to go into Chrome setting and disable each individually.
Then I tried to read up on the Internet and came across a different url for the site: www teamos dot xyz. Followed by Index .. something. I tried that. I was asked to log in or register. I am glad when my earlier log-in parameters worked. Now, I have started to use the initial url as
www teamos dot xyz / forum. So far, it has worked without mishap.
Is there any story that I missed when I was away.
Anyway, I am glad to be back. I have an Epson printer issue and I'll post about it in the Help section of the forum.
Cheers!
