Try this fix: KMS Tools Portable by Ratiborus 15.12.2022
As above 1st thing to do is: disable antivirus, 2nd: Add_Defender_Exclusion.bat, 3rd: run as admin KMSTools.exe
You will figure out the rest...

Can additional proofing languages be installed with this?

I choose offline installation - select the folder - only 2016 version is available (I guess that's the only one available for offline installation, I'm OK with that) - but only several languages are available.
I installed just Word and Excel and wanted to add another language for spell checking. But when I download language pack from Microsoft page, it won't install, not surprising.
Any way to get it to install?

UPDATE: if you don't need interface in another language but, like me, just for spell checker, you can download if from here and it will install and work!
