I'm asking solely because it's not completely removed, a nugget of it is still in the OS. Or is this a totally different thing?

And the problem with this is it has a context menu in the system tray and still functions as normal although it cannot be launched by double clicking on it on the system tray or executing it via explorer.

Use optimizer 14.3 to disable it if you want

Probably its removed in latest update.
If you want to disable windows defender permantly go to Group policy>administrative templates>windows components>microsoft defender antivirus and on the right panel search for "Turn off microsoft defender antivirus" (double click)
A pop up window will appear, select "enable">apply>ok and restart your computer.

Please leave Windows Defender and Windows Security intact next update if this will be updated in the near future and just have an optional script to disable both Windows Defender and Windows Security if the end user deems it fit for their consumption that they have zero needs for both apps. I mean I don't need Defender but I find it quite backwards that I have to recompile all my Autocad and AHK scripts because Defender flagged them and are now all stuck in Windows Defender's file vault limbo and having zero ways to get them back.

Hi, thank you for your great work, I liked this OS so much and installed it on my 3 computers.
Has being working perfectly until the latest MS updates, all 3 computers gave me a blank screen after log in and had to uninstall the updates to repair.
How can I stop the updates ?
