@mobi0001 I followed your direct download link, was redirected to Domainxnewma.com, was given a Dropbox url. That url downloaded a setup.zip, which contains a setup.exe, which contains no info in the 'details' tab of file explorer. Run this setup.exe, it crashed my Firefox. I followed another link on that uploadrar page. But cannot download the 7z file.

I used Clamwin to check the setup. But I put Office(R)Tool as the folder name. Clamwin actually cannot open that folder and give green light. I did not figure out this until too late because I've run that setup.exe. Now Clamwin did not work.

Could you please use torrent? It would be more reliable. I will not download anything from uploadrar again.

I told @Charlie_Grimes the same thing that there is something up with uploadrar. This was not the case till last week or so. Not sure why they have changed their thing, but their ads intrusion has become aggresive. Probably since uploadrar was recently purchased by a new company.

I am out till 21st, so won't be able to make any changes until then, but for the time being kindly use ublock.

Moreover, just to let know, if you downloaded from some bad redirect or advert, you should be more careful. I do not deny that uploadrar has gone downhill for some weird reason, but you yourself should always check the URL and or the file details before attempting anything. Everything on internet, just like people, should be double checked before doing any relationahip, no matter how much you trust.

This assists to avoid situation like you faced. Also, again, always use adblocker, especially ublock.

Once I am back from my leaves, I will start using a cloud account of my own, which has no ads or anything and has direct download links. The only reason I did not want to use that was: My identity might get revealed. Hence, I will have to check what else can be done.

Torrent wise, my ISP keeps blocking/unblocking and I never know when it works and when it does not. I use my cell phone to download things one at a time via LibreTorrent. But I cannot use it to run torrents as in share. Hence direct download links.

What are you trying to do mate? Who called you spammer? If you are the author of it, you are given credit. Why are you playing up and causing havoc and creating mess? BTW, nobody modifies your release. We just share it as it is received from your git.

By doing this, you are just showing your immaturity and also showcasing that you are just giving bad name to yourself.

same as i experienced in the help and request center, then came up with one thing to understand the rule, if you have the privilege to upload not to post external links. may be that's how it is...

FYI, as of today, to prevent further problems, I have banned the use of Uploadrar for new uploads and changed the uploading guidelines accordingly.
It might be allowed again in the future if someone convinces me that it can be made to operate in a more user friendly manner.
As we have four approved hostings sites that very rarely cause problems then I don't see the need for it at the moment.

See, again you are not reading rules mate. @Charlie_Grimes @Jerry_Xristos kindly remove the external URLs. Moreover, @Dark Dinosaur I doubt you are the one who claims to be the real deal. If you had to give URL, you could have given the GIT itself. Anyways, remove the URLs pls and pls take the chaos to PM with super admins themselves. Hopefully they will help you to keep peace.
