Schoettler CalcTape is a revolutionary new kind of pocket calculator. With CalcTape, also extensive calculations remain structured. CalcTape makes the arithmetic process visible, so the user can generate interim results and subsequently correct or change all numbers and operations. CalcTape PRO is the ideal alternative for user adding machines/desktop calculators in own company, government or other organization.
General features:
Extended functionality of the Pro and Enterprise version:
- Enter many calculation terms in one turn and still keep an overview - like on an adding machine/desktop calculator;
- Change any term afterward, and CalcTape will refresh the whole calculation automatically;
- Use intermediate results to check and structure user calculation;
- Comment own calculation terms, to give sense and context to it;
- Save user calculations into files. Open the files later and change the calculations. CalcTape will refresh the whole calculation automatically again and again;
- Use existing CalcTape files as templates. Do similar calculations and play different scenarios;
- Use the programmable buttons, e.g., for fast TAX calculations;
- CalcTape masters the four basic arithmetical operations, exponentials, and percentage calculations;
- Input a long list of values to be calculated and never lose the overview;
- Easily perform percent calculations for TAX/VAT and discounts;
- Copy the current result with a single tap for use in other Apps;
- The complete calculation will be automatically updated if user decide to change individual mathematical expressions;
- Input comments on single items and results and add notes wherever user wants;
- Use intermediate results to structure and to check results;
- Use CalcTape Calculator for accounting and bookkeeping;
- Use CalcTape Calculator for currency conversion.
Extended functionality of the Pro and Enterprise version:
- Scratchpad for every-day calculations is being saved automatically;
- Put calculations side by side for comparison;
- Work with variables and generate "speaking" calculations;
- Define as many programmable keys as a user like;
- Use parentheses and trigonometry when defining variables.
