Hi everyone
Moving to Windows 10 x64 Lite Edition connectivity and cloud issues
Generally I use Windows 7 system and then restrict its' communication with the outside world
for obvious reasons Windows update, Microsoft errors reporting etc.
I'm considering a major upgrade to Windows 10 V1709 Lite Edition and have these questions
The questions are interconnected so the answer to one may/will answer some of the following
What are the risks/benefits and the chances of Windows 10 V1709 Lite Edition being disabled or identified as not genuine
1. Setting up a Microsoft account and allowing communication
2. Allowing Cortana access to the cloud
3. Should I allow Microsoft OS updates
4. If I install a Office 2016 TeamOS version should I allow connection to a Microsoft account
5. I'd like to utilize Microsoft Onedrive for external storage
6. I'd like to play around with Azure
7. I'd like to connect to a Sharepoint site and share files etc.
Current perfect set up:
Windows 7 xDark 5.2 = this is x64 and whilst old it is still excellent
System on Motherboard SSD with 8TB of hard drives
Comodo firewall that blocks outgoing and incoming requests that I need to block
Regular Acronis backups
Regular ADW cleaner scans and Malwarebytes scans
Regular other maintenance tools
Office 2007
No Microsoft updates
I've set this up on another 30+ systems and everything is still working great
