Actually, there are tons of way but before that let me ask you this, is your USB new or old?
If it is a old one, have you used it enough for it to be depreciate, because newer generation of USB has their last resort to write protect their entire disk upon the EOL of USB so that the user may not lose anything important stored in the disk. Upon which, it is best to copy whatever you had stored in the said USB and thank it for its service and move on to buy a new USB.
If it is a new one, you can Google "how to remove write protection attribute to a disk"
There are quite a few ways to clear write protection in windows using registry, cmd. Try those first to see if you can clear the protection the disk.
Upon failure, try using low level format and any other thing that google suggest.
Upon failure, use linux and gparted to clear the WP and format the USB.
