just try this before you install the build:
1. Navigate to Control Panel, Hardware, and Sound and Device Manager.
2. Open the IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers section
3. Select the controller that says ‘SATA AHCI’, right click and select Properties.
4. Select the Driver tab and Driver Details. Make sure the driver is ‘iastor.sys’. If it is, carry on. If it isn’t, try another or move on to the next step.
5. Select Update Driver Software, Browse, and Let me Pick from a list of devices.
6. Select ‘Standard SATA AHCI Controller’ from the list and install.

this is the most common problem, but the are more solution on the net, just google it

As old os on ssd is already erased so can't open control panel. Currently booting from other hdd.

i was not able to boot through ventoy? any solution?

Use Easy2Boot. Similar functionality to Ventoy. But much better and advanced. If it doesn't grab your attention enough, it also has ventoy inside it.

first use GameSave Manager (or similar) to back up your game save locations, install windows to your hard drive and then use GameSave Manager to restore your save game location.
be careful to make the back in different hdd from the one you want to install the windows

Thanks, I've been using the Compact version for while however I decided to downgrade to Windows 8.1 pro because of reasons. I wonder where can I find the GHOST SPECTRE theme (or just a similar dark theme) for W8.1 ?
I really liked the aesthetic look of it, gonna miss it.
