Can you elaborate a little more on the "Disable all telemetry And improved privacy"?

I know privacy was my biggest gripe and why I chose not to install Windows 10 when it came out. Maybe it was all hype or exaggeration about how much "spyware" type elements were built in by MS... I don't know... but it for sure made me think twice.

Also would anyone care to comment on, if there has been any real improvement in the OS since release? I read a lot of articles on release about how if you had Win 7 there was no real reason to upgrade and other articles saying it was a little slower than Win 7. Now Win 7 is what I am currently running and have been using it since a month or so before release when it was a RC and have never once had a BSOD compared to previous OS's.

In Windows 10 the internet will used for telemetry when idle. you can check yourselves.
i already disable Windows Update but still running, the only way is to turn of BITS and Windows Update in Services.
