Maybe it is more like a Service Pack update than a full featured loaded update. But I had put off upgrading Windows till this update when I heard it was the "H2" update of the year. So personally wait is over.

Also with this version, Microsoft finally fixed the broken feature of expanding the start menu items when one hovers on top. Pretty funny, this was a promised feature for 1909, but broken from the get go. Once you update to 18363.476, you will see a small feature update in Windows Update, which will reboot twice and will fix this bug. Amazing the run-around for such a small eye candy in the interface.

I know what's changing/added in 1909, but I want to know what he personally has been waiting for. It seems there's something in particular he's been anticipating or interested in.

I had heard the same thing about this being more like a Service Pack. And I too have also been waiting for a non-1903 buggy release so I can finally do a reformat I've been waiting too long to do. Also glad the wait is over!

and 1909 isnt a service pack , its a independent windows like others , but updates are same , 1903 will be expire in 2020 and 1909 will be expire in 2021
