Great! So we are given a choice to install them or not? That's PERFECT, because I don't want those dodgy Meltdown and Spectre patches, nor need them. I just need this OS to work perfectly *offline*. Windows is not good for online use anyway.
Try using Legacy mode instead of UEFI , on biosNow I can use the USB 3.0 ports to install to a NUC. But can't complete setup because USB not recognized at that point. Can I load USB drivers somehow?

can you try using another win7 ISO and try it just for testing ? it might be the iso..I can boot from and install USB with this ISO perfectly. Once it gets to the point where I need a keyboard, the USB go dead. Can't type or mouse
