Hello Sir,
I bought a new laptop ( Lenovo Ideapad ) with DOS operating system. I downloaded Windows 10 pro RS1 disc file and converted to Bootable USB using Power ISO. Later I started to boot my laptop but I got strucked at choosing where to install my windows , because it is showing an error message " Windows cannot be installed to this disk the selected disk is of gpt partition ". After watching few videos I somehow accomplished installing windows. ( SHIFT+ F10 at the start of installing windows, Running command prompt, Diaskpart and erased my drives). This method erased the entire hdd.
Before that I changed some settings like Under boot option I selected Legacy First rather than UEFI.
1. Is it advisable to change that setting ?
2. How to prevent the above problem?
I never got such problem for my previous laptop
THANK YOU
