• Atomic 11 v2.1 [WSA Edition] is my first Ultralight release that includes WSA support!

• It's based on my current favorite Version and Build of Windows, and was created to offer the smallest possible highly functional build of Windows 11, that also supports running Windows Subsystem for Android.

• In addition to being able to run Windows Subsystem for Android, this release should be able to do everything Micro 11 can do. The main differences being this release doesn't include .NET Framework 3.5 (and it can't be added) or WLAN adapter drivers (so have your Wi-Fi drivers downloaded and ready to go before installing) and uses a minimal Windows Setup. I've tested this release personally on 11th gen Intel and 7th gen AMD Ryzen platforms without issue.

• Metered connection is enabled by default in this build. I highly recommend leaving it enabled. This means Windows will not automatically download drivers for your PC, so I recommend downloading drivers directly from the MFG websites instead!

• For users who do not have an interest in Windows Subsystem for Android, I would recommend installing Atomic 11 v2 or Micro 11 23H2 instead of this release, as this release was designed specifically for users who want to run WSA in an Ultralight build of Windows.

• The last 5 screenshots posted above were taken from a live PC Installation of this build on my Acer Swift 1 laptop (Intel N5000 / 4GB RAM) which I used to test this release and WSA function. Surprisingly, even though the Acer Swift 1 laptop is well below Microsoft's recommended specs to run WSA, it managed to run some of my favorite Android games smoothly. I'm not recommending or saying you should try running WSA on PCs that are weaker than MS recommends, but simply sharing the results I found when running this build on my own laptop with less than ideal specs for WSA function. I added a couple additional pics of this build installed on my Acer Swift 1 laptop HERE.

• I've updated my WSA THREAD with the latest build of WSA which now lets you choose memory allocation! This is especially useful for users that have only 4 - 8 GB of RAM, as you can allocate as little as 2GB of RAM for WSA use.

• As always, I hope you enjoy this release, and if you find it's lacking features, services or support you need, I recommend trying my full featured builds (like Windows X-Lite Optimum) instead, which are the builds I recommend for most users needs.

@FBConan This is a great edition. Works very well on an old laptop. I just have one request. I want to enable the bootup progressive ring animation. Without it, the startup feels lonely 😭. I tried registry hacks but dint work. Thanks for this!

Sad no WSL edition, but this is very useful for android devs and people who want to emulate! Think I'm still rockin' PARALOS w/ AtlasOS mod on top. Kind of scared to upgrade or change since it's running so nicely.

How did you even use AtlasOS playbook over ParalOS ? I think those playbooks can be used over stock OS only.

I just simply ran it from the desktop after a clean install and first reboot. It worked just fine. Then re-enabled the themes. All features are working and just that little extra bit was trimmed off.
I thought perhaps it would only work on stock OS too. But to my amusement it worked fine with ParalOS Enterprise.

Haven't tried it on any other custom OS.
