Using Revu with typical office documents​

When using Revu for general office applications, a mid-range computer that meets the above requirements may be used.​

Using Revu with large sets of engineering documents​

When working with large drawing sets (for example, construction project bid sets) in which the PDFs may contain hundreds of large format drawings, it is recommended that workstations have adequate memory and processor resources. A recommended hardware configuration would be 64-bit Windows with an Intel i5 Dual Core or better processor, as well as at least 8 GB of RAM. Revu can run on systems with lower specifications; however, a workstation with these specifications will provide the optimal performance.​

Using Revu for OCR​

OCR is included with the 64-bit version of Revu eXtreme. OCR will not work in 32-bit Revu.​

Installation Instructions​

• Recommend to use a clean installation.
• If you are already using an old version, please uninstall it first.
• Download BlueBeam Revu 20.2 from the official repository.
• DISCONNECT FROM THE INTERNET - disable network card or unplug the cable / disconnect from WiFi.
• Install BlueBeam Revu
• Generate serial and key and then use "Offline activation" (click on bird)

• Fill the required field and generate authorization code
• It may take more than one try to get it to stick

It is only the generator, not the full software.

Google Chrome detected it as a virus right off the bat.

@Charles thank you for your input. I did run it in a sandbox. The file does not require elevated permissions and a scan after use did not show anything untoward.

It Works !! -- Thank you for the upload !!

For everyone that's worried about a virus just run it in a sandbox application sandboxie or the built in windows version that way it can't modify your system in any way.
Because it's not a Medicines it doesn't need to access any of the installed program files to work...
I just verified that the registration process works using this method...

Yes it I can confirm that it works for 20.2.85 as I did a clean install on a test box ... just make sure that you use tinywall or something similar to block it from calling home every time you open it ... it has unregistered itself 2 times .... but after blocking it with tinywall it seems to stay registered .. I have had it running for 1 week now with no issues.

@Proteus1501 Thanks for that, I blocked Bluebeam in the Windows Firewall (outbound and inbound) so long ago I forgot about it.

Studio should not be affected in any way considering it's a completely standalone service and anybody can register. you don't have to have an activated working copy of Bluebeam.
