download it, then use ResourceHacker and pull the images out of IMAGRES.DLL

omg is this the one I finally upgrade to?? about to put it on the laptop for a testdrive.
Wonder if I really need updates or not hmmmm. Feel like Windows 11 is pretty much at it's peak until the next major milestone / release of 12.

Wonderful work, looks amazing and am excited to give it a go

Hmmm StartBack is asking for activation after reboot, and there isn't a patcher in the boost folder. Guess will have to find it elsewhere...

Otherwise, so far so good!

Update: damn, even tho virtual machine platform is there, I can't enable it. Getting component store corrupted (might have to do with update being gone). Will try to see if can use dism.exe to fix from a vanilla source. Otherwise, I can't use this build
It looks sooooooooo nice once you've customized the theme and everything! Runs super smooth and fast too!

Hats off to both of the creators. For people who don't need virtual machine platform for work, and don't care about windows update -- absolutely install this! 10/10 (almost an 11/10).

I'm just simply trying to enable the feature: "Virtual Machine Platform".

It's there on the list of Additional Windows Features. Just won't enable.
Says 'component store is corrupt' when trying to enable. And any time I try and load a different usb source with dism /source:, says cannot be found. Maybe all I needed to do was make the WinSxS folder and manually add some meta xml to it... Will attempt again in a VM later since I've moved on.
Everything else I've tried so far (except maybe trying to use bootable disk to repair dism /offline) hasn't worked. It's the one thing I personally require for work.

I've more or less boiled it down to some weird thing with update being removed. Was just hoping that since it showed on the list of additional features, that I could enable it.


Build is awesome otherwise. I just wish I could enable this optional windows feature which is still on the list!
