Build is awesome otherwise. I just wish I could enable this optional windows feature which is still on the list!

Sorry I've since loaded canary channel on my laptop so this is the only ss I have.

When I went to 'add optional features' and checked 'virtual machine platform' it failed. When I tried to enable manually via cmd / powershell, got 'component store corrupt' and could not fix with dism.

This is the only screenshot I have, as sexy as it is doesn't provide much info.

Have you enabled these services first before trying to enable virtual machine platform
Also sometimes to enable Hyper-V on Windows 11, check and enable virtualization on the UEFI (BIOS).

Sorry bro that won't work either.
Just test it in a VM and getting the same error.
Did a little search and as I said, some files from the winsxs folder is needed for Hyper-V to work especially in windows 11.

Are you trying a clean installation?
Is your HDD partitioned?

Please provide more info about your system

You can't because its removed and its not updatable this build

Yes, my SSD is partitioned, and yes, I'm doing a clean install, deleting all old Windows partitions and making them again. I don't have this problem with any other version of Windows, just yours. I love the aesthetics, and I will try it if the problem is solved.

Have you tried after you have merged your HDD?

I ran into this with a few of these stripped down windows 11 builds lately, was driving me crazy till I figured out it only happens when booting my usb from front panel of my case. Plugged my flash drive into the backk and everything worked fine, no idea why never had this problem with the front usb till recently with the extreme cut down windows 11 versions. Thought might be worth mentioning to try different usb ports.
